At Viking we strive to ensure that all our staff are empowered with tools, information, knowledge and authority to provide exceptional customer service. To do this we must be fully accredited on all relevant Sage, Microsoft and third party applications and have the necessary IT and commercial experience coupled with accountancy knowledge and qualifications.
The company aims to provide an enjoyable, challenging and rewarding place to work for all employees. Most of our staff have been with the company for over 10 years and many joined Viking straight from School or University and are still here. We like to employ apprentices and develop local students. By doing this and through on-going training and staff development we can ensure that the company has the specialised personnel with the unique skills it needs to flourish in the ever-changing world of commercial software development and IT services.
The company is owned and managed by its directors. The MD is a Chartered Engineer with over 35 year experience of working in the software, systems engineering and computer industry who has been managing Viking and selling Sage software for over 20 years. The FD is a Chartered Management Accountant with over 25 years experience working with Sage accountancy software and with Viking for over 21 years.
Our Sales Manager is one of the original founders of the company. He has over 35 years experience selling Accountancy software and 28 years working with Sage and Sage software. All Viking staff are professional, passionate, respected and experienced. We have been implementing and supporting complex business solutions for over 25 years. Customer focus, quality and partnership are key attributes of the “Viking Experience”. With a pedigree of providing quality Sage solutions to business our staff and the company have built a strong reputation for integrity, expert advice and as a friendly and trustworthy asset to any business.
