Sage 200 Project Accounting

 

Project Accounting is a highly configurable costing and analysis module, designed for companies who want to analyse costs and profit by project.

 

The module can be adjusted to suit the needs of businesses requiring simple or detailed costing and analysis structures. It provides in-depth analysis and reporting features to make sure projects remain on target and to maintain profit levels.

Project Structures

  • New projects can be created quickly and simply by utilising existing projects, project templates, from a sales order or sales quotation.
  • Configurable hierarchy supports an unlimited number of analysis levels while providing control of sub level behaviours.
  • A configurable option, for example, does the customer wish to budget by period? Is this an internal project with no customer involved?

Integration and posting

  • Sage 200 Financials and Commercials integration.
  • Import and synchronise employees and pay elements into Sage Payroll.
  • Remote time and expense entry via an optional web interface – available May.

Cost Control

  • Support for budgets and committed costs, includes rolled up, annual, period, quantity and revenue.
  • Powerful enquires, includes list based, detailed or summary enquiries. Allows information to be sent directly to Microsoft Excel for analysis.
  • Extensive reporting pack.

Billing

  • Utilises time and materials and fixed price billing methods.
  • Bill a project as a whole or in as many part bills as required.
  • Control revenues by utilising a billing schedule for example, on key project milestones such as dates, values and percentage completes.
  • Print and post bills directly through to the Sage 200 Financial ledgers.
